In the spirit of the Olympics, each of the SuperSport channels will also be renamed as ‘Olympic Channel’ for the duration of the games,” he explained.

The Nigerian basketball team will on Wednesday play Japan in their last warmup game for the tournament after losing to Germany and Serbia in the earlier fixtures of their preparatory games.

The Nigerian Football Federation also on Tuesday disclosed that the allowances of participants have been paid in order to create a good spirit in the camp and serve as a motivation during the tournament.
