American music don, Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy has been pictured as the planner of the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in recent documents.
Diddy who is the boss of the Bad Boys Records has been accused of paying $1 million for Shakur’s assassination by suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis.
“Keefe D” Davis who was arrested for the murder last year, in new court documents, has fingered Diddy as the originator of the idea for the murder of the hip hop star in 1996, according to a report by the US Sun.
According to the document, “Defendant [Keefe] has asserted publicly that he only told on himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police. However, this statement belies this claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings,” the documents read in part.
In one of the transcripts, Davis reportedly testified to Diddy’s involvement in 2Pac’s murder.
During interrogation, Davis was asked by the police if “Puffy Combs Does he play a role in this thing?…” and Davis answered, “Yeah, I think he did.” he explained that Diddy had told him and other 45 gang members how he was willing to offer anything possible to eliminate the singer.
He narrated that the singer “would give anything” for Knight’s “head” because he was “scared” of him and also had a problem with Shakur after he had released a diss track about him.
His $112,500 bail bond was rejected last month over concerns were the cash was raised.
