American iconic Rapper Nicki Minaj has sparked heavy reactions among Nigerians after posting fluently in pidgin English.
The iconic rapper felt to brag about her name, took to her micro-blogging platform X, and poured it out, expressing that her name is industrious.
She bragged that her name is the only name in the music firm that people can monetise by mentioning.
Her words:
“I must be the only person you can make money off mentioning. Go 1 day. Abeg. GO ONE FUCKING DAY WITHOUT FKNG LYING ABEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The view of the tweet caught the attention of the fans including a Nigerian who inquired to know how Nicki Minaj managed to learn Pidgin English after spotting ‘Abeg’ which means ‘please’ in her sentence.
Taking to his X handle to express his shock, the curious Nigerian fan queried on who may have been tutoring Nicki Minaj about Pidgin English, attracting her attention.

In response, Nicki Minaj addressed him completely in Pidgin Language, assuring him that he understands and reads most of the Nigerian posts about her on X, labelling Nigerians as ‘Una Pikin’.
