Taylor Swift graced yesterday’s opening match of the new NFL season, which began Thursday night with a faceoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
The pop megastar made her debut at the NFL games earlier in February when she made an appearance to cheer on her year-boyfriend, Travis Kelce—a team player for the Chiefs at their last Super Bowl victory in Las Vegas.
During Thursday’s opening game, which ended 27:20 in favour of the Chiefs, Taylor Swift appeared in a stunning denim outfit and cheered on Kelce while watching the game alongside his family in a private suite.
She was spotted with Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, cheering on their son next to her.
After the game, Kelce, who was seen in a white and light brown ombré number along with a white-and-red cap and shades when he arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday evening before robbing for the game against Baltimore Ravens, restored his stunning outfit and majestically strolled out of the arena all loved up with his girlfriend, Swift, on Friday morning.
The couple was spotted holding each other’s hands as they walked out, to the delight of fans.
While these have led the internet agog with fans gushing over the lovely moments shared on multiple online platforms, a significant scenario which played out at the Chief’s game has also called the attention of many.
This was as Brittany, the wife of Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, who was seen bonding with Taylor Swift at the games last season, was spotted in a separate suite as she cheered on her husband and other team players of the Chiefs with her little daughter, Sterling Skye on Thursday night.
Questions are continually being asked over the state of friendship between Brittany and Swift after Brittany reportedly liked a recent post by Donald Trump on Instagram.
Swift is known for favouring the Democrats and has a history of publicly condemning Trump in the past.
However, while Patrick Mahomes has never publicly endorsed any electoral candidate, Brittany defends her actions and holds fast her convictions so much that the attention her like on Trump’s post was drawing, caught the attention of the former US president and current presidential candidate under the aegis of the Republicans.
Trump, via a post on Truth social, reportedly paid tribute to Brittany and her husband for defending him despite social media banters.
