Nigerian Gospel singer, Laolu Gbenjo has expressed a diverse reason why every music genre is important.
During his recent interview where he discussed his take on Gospel music, he revealed that if everyone commits to doing gospel music, the world would be boring.
Adding to his words, he emphasised deeply that all genres matters because they are delivered and dispersed to several omitted emotions at certain occasions.
“We have to be sincere to ourselves, if everybody sings gospel, the world will be boring. That’s the truth. If anyone is getting married, you don’t expect me to sing gospel all through, there are love songs and celebration praise. It’s just a celebration”, he said.
When asked about his musical quest, he revealed that he started his musical career over his father’s influence as a pastor.
