It is only a few days from the 2024 US presidential elections, and all parties are gearing up with optimism as Republican Donald Trump vies with Kamala Harris for the White House.
A notable supporter of Trump has been SpaceX CEO and X owner Elon Musk, who has voiced his ardent support for the former President on various occasions.
Prior reports indicate that Elon Musk has, over time, made significant financial donations in support of Trump’s presidential bid and has even come to his social media platform X to rally support.
With just a few days left, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk last Thursday, used his platform X to urgently remind Americans, especially those in Georgia, about the fast-approaching deadline for voter registration ahead of the 2024 elections.
Sharing a link to the registration portal for Americans in Georgia, the X CEO enjoined all to take advantage of the little time left to quickly register in order to be eligible to vote on election day.
He emphasized that the registration process takes only a few minutes while reminding potential voters that the forthcoming elections would be highly significant in the history of America and that their respective votes would count in deciding who the next US President will be.
He added that everyone who sees his reminder should take it upon themselves to also spread the word to their families and loved ones so that no one is left out.
“Only 5 days left to register to vote in Georgia! Make sure to share this with your friends and family in Georgia. This election is the most important in living memory. Register online in a few minutes via link below.”
Musk went on to drop the registration link in the comments section of his X post which was viewed by over 25 million people on the micro-blogging social media platform.
Online voter registrations for residents of Georgia i scheduled to come to a close on the 8th of October 2024 while the presidential elections which has attracted global concerns as it always would, is scheduled for November 5th, 2024.
On that day, Americans will decide whether Kamala Harris would be returning to the White House, but as President or if Donald Trump would rest his head in the White House again. The global community remain onlookers.
