Ghana’s fate for the 2025 AFCON qualification has been put to sleep after an awful performance.
Sudan astonishingly thrashed the black stars in a 2-0 victory, fuelling pressure on Ghanaians, who have been struggling since the early kick-off of the AFCON 2025 qualification.
The beautiful game kick-started with a fine display as domination slid in the grand of Sudan players who were more advanced with the ball.
Struggling Ghanaians couldn’t contain the pressure but were able to wrap up the first half in a 0-0 draw.
This wouldn’t be held for long in the second half after A. H. M Mohammed netted a beautiful goal in the 62nd minute of the game.
Black Stars quickly attempted to equalise the scoreline but was struck with another stunning chance converted by M. A. Y. Yagoub in the 65th minute of the game.
The final whistle foresaw a frustrating game for Ghana, who is on the toll of missing the AFCON 2025 tournament to the underdogs.
Ghana sits in the 3rd spot of their Group with just two vital points below Sudan, leading with 7 points.
They are on the brink of elimination if they fail to win all their remaining fixtures from their group stage qualification. Meanwhile, Ghana has failed to win any since kicking in with their AFCON 2025 qualification.
