The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Dije Abdu-Aboki, has ordered the release of 37 inmates from the Goron Dutse Medium Security Custodial Centre, which has been part of the effort of the state to reduce the number of people at the custodian Centre.

The released persons were given ₦10,000 each which is part of the reintergration strategy of the government and money for transportation.
