Nigerian Afrobeat legend 2 Baba has officially announced his marital dissolution with wife Annie Idibia.
In recent hours, the singer pubicly announced parting ways with his long-term wife.
According to him, it’s officially confirmed that he and Annie Idibia won’t be continuing their relationship as couples after confiding in a secret conversation.
The ‘African Queen’ crooner also confessed that he had long filed for a divorce even before the saga escalated to this point.
In a well composed sentence, passed through his Instagram handle, he finalised that he would admit an official interview to tell his story.
As expected, outrage engulfed all social media platforms as concerned civilians reacted massively according to their views. Some who are not pleased with his decision, including, Toke Makinwa heavily lambasted him for disrespecting Annie Idibia.
In other words, 2Baba and Annie’s marriage hasn’t been what people often admire aligning to the sagas attatched to their union. 2baba has been overly accused of infidelity on several occasions while the likes Annie battle in affection, drained often to the point that she publicised their domestic blow. Since tying the knot with 2Baba, Annie Idibia has showed most affection contrary with 2Face who is struggling with infidelity.
