Burna Boy’s sister, Ronami Ugulu, recently granted an interview where she revealed her relationship with the singer during the early phase of his career, which has sparked reactions.
Speaking about her class, Ronami Ugulu uttered that consistency pays, detailing that even though she is a renowned graduate with master’s degrees, she still resorted to dressing up Burna Boy. Today, she is an established fashionista with endorsements and deals from top brands.
She also revealed that despite Burna Boy’s class, she often reminds him that if she weren’t his biological sister, he wouldn’t be able to afford to pay her, revealing that she used to dress him up at every show he went. She added that she served as his PA, providing his underwear and taking care of his catering, including food. In this category, she finalised that, to date, she is the one who provides his clothing as his stylist.
Speaking about her mother’s influence on Burna Boy, she opined that she used to top up her child’s deal to meet his ego so that he could perform at several shows because she knew he needed exposure. She outlined that she once advanced a 100k deal to 200k with her money to convince Burna Boy to perform.
Speaking about his father, she revealed that he used to drive Burna Boy to his shows, both his arrival and exits.
