The English handball team, otherwise known as the New England Patriots, met their last game in a preseason match against the Washington Commanders last Sunday.
This was as the Patriots recorded a huge 10:20 loss in favour of the Washington Commanders who appeared a little on the losing side in the first quarter.
The first quarter was reportedly dominated by plenty of penalties due to poor offensive line plays by the English side.
English teamplayer, Drake Maye, however, reportedly made the most impressive moves in the course of the first half as Patriots remained on advantage even in the second quarter.
A myriad of back and forth involving short pass interference penalty, unintended short passes, a false start on Layden Robinson and illegal formation on Chuks Okorafor amongst others, prevailed over the first half, some of which pushed England’s Patriots backwards.
In the third half aand beyond, the Commanders efforts seemed to have doubled as each player displayed impressive skills that saw the team soar to triumph.
A pair of short gains in the fourth quarter of the playoff seemingly served as another springboard for the Commanders who quickly leaped with a 3rd-and-2 even as McSorley’s pass downfield drew a pass interference on Dial that reportedly netted 19 yards.
The preseason match between England’s Patriots vs. Commanders of Washington in the US, came to a close with a 10:20 loss against the English side even though Drake Maye reportedly played an impressive game and shined in the first half.
