Nigerian cleric Apostle Suleman has laid his interest in the outgrowing pressure men face in romance with Nigerian ladies that often involve financial affairs.
The Nigerian cleric has been overly open and nailed to tutoring youngsters recently. This time, he has cautioned men to always desist financial pressure from their partner if they are not capable.
According to his utterances, no man should resort to taking the responsibilities of a lady for it’s meant for her father. He added that men should learn that they are in the position to adhere to that as it naturally reflects to the father’s side.
Perhaps he revealed that one can offer to pay his girlfriend’s school fees if he is financially stable, but in a situation where he is struggling, he is overly against it. He further suggested that men should buy the idea of admitting to their fate and avoiding unnecessary financial pressure from their partner by telling them to fast and pray.
His words:
“How do you want to do for her what her father could not do? Stop carrying other people’s issues on your head. You cannot be a father to someone you did not birth. You cannot be a father to a girl you are about to marry. You are a boyfriend, not a father.
How do you expect to do for her what her father couldn’t do? You want to inherit the d£m0ns her father saw and avoided. You can’t carry a load that is not yours. If she comes to you for school fees and God has blessed you, pay. But if you’re str&ggl!ng, pray.
By next week, it will be Valentine’s. Don’t stress yourself taking anyone anywhere. There’s no fuel, don’t bother to buy anyone anything if you don’t have money. Tell her that you should fast and pray…”
Nigerians resorted to a mixed reaction, with many believing in his idea, while many tackled him for allegedly choosing sides.
