Mark Zuckerberg has overtaken Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to become the world’s second richest person

Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Meta Platforms, has soared to the second phase of the richest individual in the world category according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Covering a whopping net worth of $206.2 billion, Mark Zuckerberg has surpassed Amazon CEO to become the  second richest man in the world.

He only trail to Elon Musk Tesla CEO, who is way richer than the names in the category.

The Facebook CEO surpassed former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos with just $1.5 billion difference as his fortune currently weighs at $205.1 billion.

The incredible advancement in Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth was influenced from his 13% ownership in Meta Platforms. On 3rd October, Meta amassed a hit market value and an vall-times high of $582.7, attracting close to 70% increase in 2024.

Meta’s growth was attributed to the rising sales and general income generated by the company that reported over a 22% rise in second-quarter sales, breaching over $39.07 billion in total sales.

In the other view, other platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook still averages whopping income attributed to ads and other financial activities.

Mark Zukerbeg remains one of the most adored multi-billionaire who has surpassed incredible feat to advance communication.
