Hilda Baci – a 27-year-old Nigerian Chef has officially surpassed the current Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual after cooking for more than 87 hours, 45 minutes.
This record was set earlier in 2019 by India’s Lata Tondon who cooked for a tally of 87 hours, and 45 minutes and kept a record no chef surpassed until Baci ventured in.

Despite breaking the record, she insists to keep cooking until 4 pm so she could breach a whopping hours of 96.
Nigerians across the globe including recognised names have been on their toes cheering and supporting her via their passions.
The Akwa Ibom Chef who was born on 20th September 1996 disclosed that it’s one of her biggest aspirations and also an opportunity to tell some positive stories from Africa through the meals they eat.
