Reactions have sparked online following the view of the latest Headies Award nomination that transpired on 11th July 2023.
Headies Award Board nominated the likes of Burna Boy and Davido for their incredible 2023 Albums but snubbed Wizkid’s ‘More love less Ego’.

This didn’t digest well with his fans who fumed and speculated that the Nigerian Afrobeat Giant is giving vast room for the new generation to attain their deserved glory disclosing that the music mogul willingly didn’t submit his album for a possible nomination.
Other sources disclosed that the ‘Caro’ crooner did submit his album but was snubbed because of the status of its qualities as it was termed a mid-album that deserves no credit.
Away from the controversy, this is the first time the Nigerian music mogul failed to secure a nomination at any Headies Annual Music Award category. He is, however, the most-awarded artist in the Headies Award history holding a tally of 20 plaques.
In the toll of this, Wizkid is yet to utter a single word as the saga continues to trail via all the social media platforms.
