Nigerian Afrobeat gem, Asake has confessed the vital role Wizkid has played in his musical career.
Speaking on his collaboration with the Grammy winner on his new album Lungu Boy, Asake detailed that it was a dream come through.
According to him, Wizkid has always been his mentor from the core of his career to date, and collaborating with him makes it better.
His words:
“It’s no secret that Wizkid is one of my music inspirations. As a young striving artiste in Lagos, I’ve been waiting for that right song so when the opportunity came it was a no brainer.
“‘MMS’ stands for ‘Mr Money Sound’ and it explains my music journey.”
Asake also detailed that Wizkid always keeps his words following how they recorded MMS weeks after the demise of his mother.
Lungu Boy album has ganered convincing numbers since its release and this proves how fans loves the album.
