American singer Cardi B has publicly endorsed the candidacy of Kamala Harris in the November 2024 US elections.
In a post on X, the hip-hop star showed her excitement after Joe Biden openly resigned and endorsed the candidacy of Kamala as the democrat candidate
“Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin’ with me!” she said.
Before the resignation of Joe Biden on Sunday the singer publicly suggested in May 2024 that Kamela Haris should be the candidate for the Democrat after President Joe Biden debates with the Republican Party candidate.
Her recent post has been seen as her making a U-turn after she noted in May during her interview with Rolling Stone, that her voting and participation in the November election was hanging in the balance if the Incumbent President Joe Biden, and his rival and former President Donald Trump remains the candidate of Democrat and Republican Parties respectively.
The resignation of Biden has been greeted with excitement from different camps as Donald Trump has welcomed the development in the past 12 hours of the resignation, he explained that defeating Kemela Harris will be easier than Biden.
In the past hours after the American pop star Ariana Grande, has also endorsed the candidacy of Harriss in the November election, the singer who shared a series of pictures of the democrat on her Instagram story advised all her followers to get registered in order to vote her candidate.
“Register to vote,” Ariana said.
