Amid the recent financial debates, Davido has defiled the odds to emerge as the richest African singer following Forbes 2024 financial update.
The official list was published earlier today, featuring The likes of Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid and Don Jazzy.
In the list, Davido emerged the richest African artist, bagging an estimated Net worth of $100 million.
Don Jazzy graced $50 million while Burna Boy emerged as the third richest with the net worth estimated to be $38 million.
Wizkid deservedly attained the fourth spot gracing a net worth of $25 million, dominating alongside Rema who attained the fifth place with an estimated currency of $15 million.
In the past few weeks, Wizkid who was bound to rubbishing Davido, slammed him consistently in a ranting spree that exceeded 24hrs. He made claims aligning to being the African richest musician which in turn have been proven wrong by Forbes.
Some fans still believe that Forbes may have updated the chart in favour of Davido, sparking reactions among them.
Even though there has been controversies linked to Davido’s lifestyle amid his influence, he has continued to carry on with his philanthropic approach, lifting people and financially endorsing mutiple oprhanage brands in Nigeria.
Davido has confessed to be inspired by his Multi-Billionaire father who has vowed to financially stabilise penury merchants as he could.
