Nicole Kidman’s revelation about the making of “Baby Girl,” a movie she has announced will be released on Christmas Day, December 25, is quite thrilling. The movie, which will be released in U.S. theatres by A24 first premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September, earning her the prestigious Volpi Cup which is the award for Best Actress at the closing ceremony of the festival.

Prior to the disclosure, “Baby Girl” had attracted the attention of many movie lovers and Nicole’s fans. Its sexually charged scenes have got many talking about it so much that even Nicole emphasised it in one of her recent interviews where she spoke about playing a sexually charged character in a movie for the first time and how the making of the film’s scenes was often being too much for her that she had to pause shooting.

According to her, there was an enormous amount of sharing and trust which helped the scenes go as planned. However, there were moments where it turned out frustrating.

Nicole stated in an exclusive interview with The Sun that there were times when it became intense and to avoid any more orgasms, she would take breaks from shooting and ask the male casts, with whom she played the sexually charged roles not to touch or come near her anymore.

She said, “It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me’. There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm anymore. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!’ I’m over it. It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”

“Baby Girl” has earned the actress wide acclaims. She plays the role of a successful businesswoman having an affair with a new intern at her workplace despite having a comfortable and peaceful lifestyle with her husband, Antonio Banderas who took up the role.

This extra-marital affair eventually causes upheaval in the character’s on-screen life. Playing the role of the new intern is Harris Dickinson, a 25-year-old who recently broke into the limelight with an acting prowess exclusive to his style.

“Baby Girl” was directed by “Bodies Bodies Bodies” filmmaker Halina Reijn.
