Nigerian singer, Oladips has taken to his social media handle to tackle Wizkid for allegedly stealing his lyrics.
The music gem who rose from the dead, expressed his concern after Wizkid allegedly condoned plagiarism on his lyrics.
Wizkid collaborated with Asake on his third studio album, Lungu Boy featuring on the first track “MMS” which he graced with his incredible qualities.
The beauty of the songs attracted massive listeners who streamed the music to vast numbers.
As many expressed their thriller about the song, Oladips accused him of allegedly stealing his lyrics as he compared his lyrics with his.
Wizkid had spoke and paid tribute to his deceased mother in the song and also expressed how he lost himself to find his purpose which was related to Oladips lyrics.
Oladips 2022 single “Ajala Traveller” reads:
“I had to lose myself to find my purpose,”
Lyrics from Wizkid’s verse on Asake’s MMS says:
“Lost Myself, and I found my purpose.”
Reacting to this, Oladips queried if it was a coincidence or if the Nigerian singer had resorted to copying him.
His words:
“Recycling or coincidience @Wizkid”
As expected, Wizkid didn’t bother to utter a word to the Rapper, however, his fans didn’t hesitate to troll Oladips for allegdly disrespecting their favorite.
