Nollywood legend Patience Ozokwor has taken to her social media handle to celebrate her 66th birthday
The Nigerian icon didn’t hesitate to thank God for her life having embodied an enchanting legacy.
She made several utterances to bid God’s mercy and blessing on her life, leaving Nigerians on the toll of wishes.
Taking to her social media handle, she posted photographs of her, while dancing along with her grand daughter.
Captioning the post, she wrote:
“Birthday Thanksgiving. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Patience say; If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Nigerians also stormed her page and deployed their positive wishes to the legendary actress.
Patience Ozokwor remains one of the piooneers of the success of Nollywood, having put in work consistently for the firm’s current success so far.
