Nigerians have heavily blasted the Afrobeat icon, Timaya for grumbling about the sudden high cost of petrol in Nigeria.
Timaya snubbed pressure and performed alongside his colleagues at Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration even though his fans never supported such.

He was reported to be paid about a tally of 10 million which thrust an electrifying performance he deployed to the interest of his audience during the Inauguration.
Despite the beauty of the performance, Timaya was quick to identify his displeasure with the sudden cost of petrol after Tinubu announced the expulsion of fuel subsidy.
Via his Twitter handle, he simply tweeted:
“No fuel for my moto”

Reacting to this, Nigerians urged him to embody the challenge with the 10 million, he made from the inauguration. The singer, however, showed no remorse as the saga continued to trail.
