Court has issued Verydarkman an immediate summon for questioning and further investigation following defamatory offence against Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo
In recent hours, Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, issued a bench warrant for the detention of the Nigerian social media influencer Verydarkman.
On 5th March 2025, the Bodybuilder failed to honour summon triggering a bench warrant issued by Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna.
Before date, Verydarkman dropped a defamatory statement against Mercy Chinwo, addressing that the gospel singer indulged in a “contractual dispute” and had allegedly pushed over $345,000 linked to her ex record label boss, Eezee Tee to hers.
In the line, Mercy Chinwo alongside his legal team, debunked the allegation with documented evidences and receipts. They would file Verydarkman a lawsuit, worth 1.1 billion.
He is meant to delete every statement linked to the defamatory offence and tender a public apology. From the point of current controversy, Verydarkman is yet to confide in the court order, having ignored all the pressure.
