Nigerian human rights activists Verydarkman has been struck short of his finance following recent cyber buzz.
In recent hours the bodybuilder cried out over fraud after his NGO account was hacked. He detailed that among his over 200 million funds, he lost over 180 million to extortion and cyber fraud. Bidding to his emotion, he has been vocal about recovering the lost funds.
Recall that the social media influencer had founded an NGO account he induced for his philanthropic activities. Farmost to the finding, he was able to raise over 100 million donated by concerned Civilians. It even escalated to the point where celebrities like Don Jazzy infused the figure with 100 million donation making it a tally of over 200 million funds in total . He often updated the Civilians with the whole view of the federation assuring them of authenticity to the phase that he sailed them through his advanced plan of disbursing the funds in his philanthropic movements. This featured opening a website where civilians can explore the whole movement including the disbursement of funds and finance of the NGO.
Forward to date, Verydarkman voiced that he is following the situation strictly and so far he has tracked down one of the suspects of the Cyber fraud. He added that they were able to retrieve just 20 million from the stolen 180 million. Stressing further, he uttered that his team detected that the suspect diverted the remaining 160 million to an unknown account, assuring civilians of the possibility of retrieving all the money anytime soon.
Despite detailing the situation, some aggrieved Nigerians has slammed him heavily, accusing him of embezzling public funds attatched to his recent assets attained, including an alleged 100 million car. Reactions has continued to unfold among Nigerians to date.
