Tragedy has struck among Basketball enthusiasts as their Hall of Famer  Dikembe Mutombo passes on at 58 following health complications.

According to several sources, Dikembe Mutombo died on Monday in Atlanta a year after he was admitted for brain cancer diagnosis.

Perhaps this revolves back to his early life featuring what emerged to be a class of dedication.

The NBA Hall Of Famer , arrived at Georgetown University as an international student with a medical ambition away from sport, however he found his peak in professional basketball, where he earned an enchanting career, pushing his qualities to humanitarian goals solemnly deployed to his native Democratic Republic of the Congo

Even though Mutombo preferred soccer as a child, his older brother, Ilo, and his father, Samuel, inspired his basketball legacy, following how they encouraged him to explore the field. This was attributed to his physical qualities, including his size of 7 feet 2 inches, aligned with his intense agility and other abilities.

His legacy was infused in line with covering up to 18 seasons in dominance, and he retired with the second-most blocked shots in league history.

After retirement, he enrolled for a willing humanitarian purpose stretched in favour of his ancestry country, Congo.

Since his death, fellow Hall Of Famers, celebrities and Concerned civilians has bidded their condolences via all the social media platforms.
