Paul Pogba recently locked in an official interview with SkySport since his ban, which has turned out to be the week’s trend.
Paul Pogba was handed a four-year ban from his football career after testing positive for duping relating to his anxiety tales.
After serving a year out of the ban, he filed an appeal and luckily got his ban reduced to 6 months. He will be making his first appearance since the January ban if his deal with Juventus remains active.
During his interview with SkySport, he discussed all the varieties that needed to be known by the media.
Clarifying the rumours attached to his potential move to Manchester City, Pogba confirmed that he was approached by Pep Guardiola.
According to him, he rejected his offer to complete his Juventus deal.
“Yes, I said NO to Pep Guardiola’s approach to accept Juventus proposal” he said
“That story is true” he added
Speaking about his Manchester United exprience, Paul Pogba admitted that as of 2019 at 27, he didn’t want to play for Manchester United anymore.
Detailing the stance, he disclosed that Manchester City and Liverpool were clearly better teams, which wholly tarnished his passion for the club, he wanted a move. His plan didn’t work out.
As disclosed by the French man he was out of reach and wanted to leave. He contacted Ed who snubbed his plea; perhaps he had to remain professional and returned for pre-season, admitting to have played without passion.
His words:
“I was 27 back then, it didn’t work out the way I wanted. I gave my best but I didn’t see the club going upwards.”
“Manchester City and Liverpool were better than us, and they were improving. Ole [Solskjær] said yes (to me leaving) and that he would talk to Ed [Woodward].”
“My head was already that I wanted to go, but I came back for pre-season because I wanted to be professional.”
“I spoke to Ed to try to make a move, but he blocked it. I didn’t want to play for United anymore, but I had to be professional.”
“Mentally, I wasn’t there, and then I got the injuries.”
Speaking on the viral Wayne Rooney claim of him dancing in the locker room with Jese Lingard after they had lost a furious game, Paul Pogba debunked the narration and finalised it false.
Finalising his revelation, he opined that he is willing to have a paycut to resume his duty with Juventus while also revealing how fresh and ambitious he tends to be back in what he does best.
The Frenchman is set to return to action in January with his proposed club as he would complete serving his ban in 2025.
