The Kansas City Chiefs have taken the lead in a new face-off with the Falcons at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show in Atlanta.
As at press time, the Chiefs were leading the away match 17:22 points ahead of their opponent, with Carson Steele powering the drive in the second half.
The two-time Super Bowl Championship title holders had settled for three field goals to put up points after scoring a touchdown on their second possession.
The Falcons on the other hand, have reportedly lost a considerable piece to their offensive line against the Kansas City Chiefs, as right tackle Kaleb McGary was helped off the field after sustaining an injury and receiving medical care just in the first half.
Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has also been credited with just two catches for 4 yards in the first half and had a pair of grabs for 26 yards on the drive — including a 17-yard reception.
Losing a home match would be a great loss to the Falcons if the final results do not turn out in their favour.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs, who have enjoyed a Championship title at the Super Bowls for two years running, reportedly started the season on a good note despite some challenges which included a few loses in the preseason.
The Chiefs had reportedly secured a 2-0 lead in their opening games while Atlanta Falcons struggled to secure a 1-1 record, winning their first game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.
Relatedly, Taylor Swift appears to be missing in Atlanta where her boyfriend is set to take another step towards victory for the 2024 Super Bowl Half Time Show season, sources have said.
