Former US president, Donald Trump and incumbent vice president, Kamala Harris will have their first presidential debate face-off today.
Both candidates are expected to heighten their biddings as the presidential elections scheduled for November 5th, 2024, draws closer amidst hedge-highs between Trump and Harris who both possess high potentials of sweeping the polls by the most insignificant margin.
Emerging reports indicate that Harris spent her day preparing for the debate and gearing up for possible concerns that might be raised.
On his part, US president, Joe Biden reportedly praised Harris’ confidence ahead of the presidential debate.
“Harris calm, unbothered” the president reportedly remarked.
Donald Trump seemed to have had it easy with the incumbent US president, Joe Biden during their face-off at the first US presidential campaign held ahead of the November 2024’s polls.
The debate which held in June 2024, effectively ended Biden’s re-election bid.
Biden’s poor performance had raised concerns over slim chances of Democrats retaining power at the White house amidst speculations that the president may perform poorly even at the polls. The US presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is scheduled for Tuesday 10th September 2024 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The face-off is set to commence at 21:00 EDT (02:00 BST) and last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks.
