Nigerian Afrobeat Gaint Davido has announced his fifth studio album, ‘5ive’, which will be released in early 2025.
Amid criticism deployed on him by rival singer Wizkid, Davido has ignited an advanced snub, focusing on announcing his incoming album instead.
The singer took to his X handle and shared the cover photograph of the album featuring a cultural instinct.
Captioning it, he expressed that it bid his story, truth and growth, aligning with his journey __ straight from the heart.
As scheduled by pre-sales, the album will be released in March 2025, leaving fans in total anticipation.
The album is rumoured to have featured big names including Omah Lay, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Odumodoblvck, YG Marley and many other undisclosed stars.
Perhaps, he also announced an incoming music ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodoblvck and Chike, which will be released on 6th December 2024 ahead of his incoming album.
The song was recently premiered at his recent show where he was spotted performing it alongside the highly profiled Nigerian Rapper Odumodoblvck.
Since announcing this, fans have stormed his comment section to congratulate and voice their views. In the other view, Wizkid fans has resorted to trolling him, rediculing his words to their favour while debating with people crediting the incoming album.
