A Nigerian woman has sparked reactions among civilians after she publicised the list of demands her daughters suitors should provide before being able to marry her.
According to her, being able to take care of her daughter, seeing her through school, deserves a man who needs to own the responsibility. In her words, the man should be able to stand $10k cash price while revealing further reasons.
She mentioned that she passed through incredible feats to see her daughter grow so beautiful. Thereby, any man who is interested in her should be able to provide her series of monetary requests. Identifying clearly that she is not selling her daughter, she backed that the price tag represents value as she will not hesitate to carry her daughter if her husband maltreats her. She added that paying $10k for her daughter doesn’t grant any suitor to physically abuse her, for she will always be at watch.
In a video that has gone viral, she was spotted saying:
“She also bragged about how sure she is over her daughter as she would attract better men despite her $10k price tag.”
“Anybody that wants to marry my daughter must pay in dollars. Bride price is $10,000 (₦350 million), only bride price, because I know how much it cost us to make her look this level. Bride price $10,000. I am not selling oo, because if you do anyhow, I’ll bring her back.”
“Though I know she won’t marry a b@d man, she will marry a good man, but bride price is $10,000. The one you’ll give me when you come to marry her is $50,000 for bre@stf££ding her. Then my husband, you will buy Land Cruiser latest 2025.”
“Making these demand won’t make the man be@t and m@ltra£t her because he knows what it costs him. And even if he do anyhow, na to tie him hand, tie him leg, put am for boot and bring him to house. All of us will join hand to b£@t him. After b£@ting him, he will now have sense.”
Finalising her utterances, she opined that this would initiate value on her daughter once the man comply to her demands.

“If he doesn’t pay this money, he wouldn’t know your value. If he pays it, he will know you come from a good background…”
Concerned civilians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively according to their views.
