Nigerian highly profiled singer Davido has expressed his profound gratitude to his fans after his two albums attained three gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The RIAA credits significant sales achievements for music records in the U.S. Singles or albums are expected to surpass or reach 500,000 units sold, including physical copies, digital downloads, and streaming equivalents, as disclosed by several sources, to clinch a Gold Certification.

Davido’s two album, ‘A Good time’ and ‘Timeless’ breached just that, attaining Davido another set of certification to add to his prolific career so far.

He joins Wizkid and Burna Boy as the only Nigerian stars with over five Gold certification.

The ‘Gobe’ crooner also took to his X handle and celebrated the new feat, attracting reactions amongst fans.

Fans stormed their social media platforms and congratulated him according to their feelings.

In the other view, Davido’s fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ emerged to be the most successful album of his career, amassing over 500 million streams so far. Another view of success it attained foresaw the Afrobeat album bagging Grammy nomination and surpassing a rare feat to become the most streamed Afrobeat album as of the first day of its release.
