Nigerian veteran actress Destiny Etiko has expressed her displeasure over the current inflation rate in Nigeria.
The actress, astonished to digest the new fuel price that rose from N800 to N1250, detailed her concern.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she queried the economic fate of Nigeria while adding that she thought Nigerians protested against inflation.
Furthermore, she expressed concern for people with low incomes, who may struggle to eat three times daily.
In reality the Nigerian inflation rate has taken a deep toll on civilians who are finding it difficult to meet to their daily demands. Most civilians has confessed to intense suffering as they hope on the government to act upon the draining situation. Even though Nigerians embarked on a serious protest, the economy seem to have worsened.
Destiny Etiko in the other phase had been vocal about her displeasure with the Nigerian government, swerving back to her recent call out where she slammed the federal government for portraying relocantancy to people’s demands. She also once condemned Nigerians who were excited for the commencement of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija season 9, disclosing that they should be ashamed of themselves. This she backed with the claim that many are suffering.
