Nigerian singer Victory has released a 14-track album titled ‘Stubborn.’
This serves as the singer’s second studio album, as he is set to deploy dominance once more.
The album dropped on Friday, 21st, 2024, and features the likes of Asake, Shallipopi, Moore, saint Jhn, and Teezo Touchdown, who spiced it up with their musical abilities.
Victony, before the album release, had released two tracks, ‘Kolo’ and ‘Stubborn’ from the album, which served as a presale to the album’s current successes.
Speaking about the album, Victony disclosed that he is trying to nurture into who he is and why he is different.
His words:
“With Outlaw, I tried to let people know that [I am] different, ”
“Here, I’m continuing with that stubbornness, telling people we haven’t switched lanes. I’m still about being me regardless of who likes it or not. And just reflecting back on everything that I have been through and where I’m coming from—because it’s not necessarily a land of dreams. It’s not easy to be from Lagos. You have to be hopeful because there’s not much to give you hope around you. Victony is resilient, and I feel like this album truly represents who I am now.”
Since releasing ‘Stubborn,’ it has gathered a convincing number of streams that defines his qualities.
