Taking his social media handle, he shared a photograph of him rocking a customised pendant with his late father and elder brother’s photographs.
After the photograph went viral, Nigerians stormed their social media handles and bidded their views. Some aligned with his tribute while some raised concern about his health following several signs of weight loss spotted on him. This resulted in another version of reactions from concerned civilians who resorted to trolling and advising him, comparing his situation to Zinoleesky.

Despite advocating to despising smoking several years ago, Rema has continued to display his love for smoking as he is often spotted devouring it on several occasions.
