Nothing compares to when Tyla showed up at the Met Gala wearing a sand-made outfit. Still, she once again left everyone in awe at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by wearing a variety of lingerie-inspired ensembles. But which one is the best? She wore a colourful fluffy jacket with a white lace bra and a skirt that appeared to be composed of more white bras as part of her post-party ensemble.
Wearing a lace lingerie suit and matching garter—complete with enormous angel wings—Tyla sang her songs “Water” and “PUSH 2 START” during the performance.
She accessorised the hot pink Salih Balta dress, influenced by the aughts, with a diamond necklace and a belly ring when she was on the carpet. Victoria’s 2024 covert fashion show obviously.
Ahead of the Victoria’s Secret show, Tyla reportedly said she has always been a major fan.
“I literally would watch Victoria’s Secret fashion presentations on repeat. I was intrigued with watching it and observing the folks on film. There was a point when I thought, Hey, I could be a Victoria’s Secret Angel one day, she said.
“Tyla added, “However, my father strongly disagreed. I adore the show for its fashion, music, and sheer entertainment value. It’s not as serious as other runway events, and I’m having a lot of fun being a part of it.”
The South African amapiano-influenced singer also discussed her collaboration with the brand on her performance dress, adding, “We designed something that would tie in with the event, something that would be relevant to the show, and something I’d like to perform in. It’s incredibly glittery and rather different from what I’m used to. But I truly enjoy it. It’s something unique and elevated for me.”
