Nigerian Afrobeat maestro, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake has replied to his fans who are asking him to sing more in English.
Renowned Nigerian Yoruba civilian, since his debut in the Nigerian music firm has built a legacy that defines his qualities. His blend in the Afrobeat genre bids rare uniquessness and style exempted from his comfort.
However, even though Asake came to stardom by singing in Yoruba dialect, some fans are not satisfied with him getting comfortable with it.
A vast number of fans has grumbled about the singer not singing in English more, which even rose to the peak that they started parading it.
While discussing his newly released album on his Instagram live, a fan asked the same question which reached to his attention.
Replying to the overzealous fan, Asake confided that he is more comfortable singing in the Yoruba dialect even though he can sing in English.
Addressing his fans further, he disclosed that if they love him, they should get use of his Yoruba lyrics.
Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively via all the social media platforms.
