Two major Chelsea football club sponsor, Three UK has withdrawn their deals from the premier league club following the current sanction issued to their owner Roman Abramovich.
This came shortly after the UK government froze the assets of Roman Abramovich in the UK prompting a vast effect on Chelsea football club. They were banned from selling players, portraying merchandise sales, renewing contracts, buying players and selling the club’s matchday tickets.

Reacting to this, the UK Three publicly announced their take on the issue and withdrew their sponsorship till further notice.
Their statements read:
“In light of the government’s recently announced sanctions, we have requested Chelsea Football Club temporarily suspend our sponsorship of the club, including the removal of our brand from shirts and around the stadium until further notice. 1/2”
“We recognise that this decision will impact the many Chelsea fans who follow their team passionately. However, we feel that given the circumstances, and the Government sanction that is in place, it is the right thing to do. 2/2”

Meanwhile, several sources also have confirmed that Nike is considering withdrawing from sponsoring Chelsea Football club till further notice.
