Afrobeat Gems, Falz and Peter Okoye, have publicly criticized the Nigerian Police Force for failing to protect voters during the general elections in 2023.
This came shortly after civilians encountered another disastrous outcome during the Nigerian Governorship election that transpired on Saturday.

Reacting to the outcome in Tantrum, the two Afrobeat icons who were not pleased by the weakness of the Nigerian Police Department towards the Nigerian 2023 election centred their anger on their ignorance.
Falz who was fuming, took to his Twitter handle and publicly shaded the Nigeria Police Department while further announcing his displeasure with their negligence. He grumbled about how they refused to keep hold of their grind and totally ignored thugs who brutally attacked civilians which further spanned to the Tv presenters on duty.
His words:
“I am so livid. This level of fuckery is unbelievable!”
“A couple of Arise TV journalists were very badly beaten up at my polling unit. OF COURSE, in the presence of Police officers!”
“On the basis of which logic do you conclude that it’s okay to use force to get people to ‘vote’ for you ? All you supporters and enablers of this fxxkery are even more despicable. You know better, but you are EVIL at heart. You are VILE!”

Adding to this Peter Okoye confidently called out the Nigerian Police Department and labelled them as ‘Thugs’ disguising in uniform.
His words:
“We do not have police in Nigeria! All we have is thugs with uniforms! SHAME ON THEM!”
