His consecutive goals from Leverkusen’s last two matches makes it a total of 6 goals in all competitions, keeping him in shape for more impact to deploy.
Leverkusen 2 – 2 Holstein Kiel
Leverkusen who hosted Holstein Kiel at home foresaw a shock as the ambitious team equalised their two early goals in the second half of the game.
Victor Boniface scored yet another opener followed by Hofmann’s goal attached to a four munites difference.
The promising match swerved to a flair after Mash Geschwill and Arp’s goals equalised the scoreline.
Speaking about the sudden draw, Leverkusen’s head Coach xavi Alonso labelled it as a mentality dispatch which in turn haunted them. He confessed that they didn’t play with the same mentality as their last UCL match.
Overall Victor Boniface has continued to prove why he is way qualified to attain the African best player trophy against his national teammate Ademola Lookman.
