Chelsea football club has dropped yet another dominant performance following their 2_3 triumph against Napoli to earn their spot in the UEFA Champions league round of 16.
Overly not expected, the London side overlooked as the underdog once again teared it up, this time, against Antonio Conte side. With Joao Pedro dropping a solo massive performance, Chelsea earned their spot in the round of 16.
The intense game that came as a blow to both teams started off with a leveled approach. However, after Enzo Fernandez converted his penalty, the game escalated to a heated head to head approach between the two teams. The game was leveled again, but this time, Chelsea has completely dominated the game. Joao Pedro would seal Chelsea’s spot in round 16 by scoring the last goal of the match in the 82nd minute of the game.
Chelsea now awaits the round 16 draw to continue with their UCL quest ahead of other competitions. They sit as the current top English club with the most number of round of 16 qualifications. Along with Arsenal and Manchester city, Chelsea has qualified for the UEFA Champions league knockout phase.
