Manchester United escaped another shock of the UCL group stage game week after a late goal from Cristiano Ronaldo secured them their first victory of the 2021/2022 UCL campaign.
The first goal came from the Villarreal maestro Paco Alcacer who tapped in a beautiful assist to lead the game.

Several saves from the Spaniard goalkeeper De Gea saved Manchester United from being trashed by Villarreal.
A classy goal from the Manchester United left back Telles assisted by Bruno Fernandez levelled the game for the Red Devils but didn’t gain possession for them as the underdogs pressured them.
However, Manchester United bounced back and dominated the game thrusting a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo who fired in a beautiful strike assisted by Lingard in the 90+5 minute.
