Since the Cameroonian Singer and songwriter, Libianca bagged ‘Best New International Act’ ahead of the Nigerian Afrobeat Gem, Asake at the 2023 BET AWARDS, Nigerians have been in full doubt.

They have launched a vast criticism directed at the status of the Cameroonian singer with the claim that she doesn’t deserve the award.

Several sources have disclosed that even some recognised status has condemned the new feat of the Cameroonian icon addressing further that she can’t triumph over her nominees with just one song.

Libianca attained prominence after debuting in the Afrobeat genre with her evergreen single ‘People’.  Tik tok however aided her global recognition after thousands of Tik tok users jumped in a challenge with her hit song.

People were able to discover the beauty of her musical abilities and relinquished to become her fans boosting her crafts in numbers.

She was recognised by the BET Awards board and was nominated alongside Asake who is way fans’ favourite.

Amid her triumph, most fans believe that Asake had a perfect season ahead of the Cameroonian singer who registered just one hit song.
