Nigerians has swerved to yet another toll of tragedy after having to foresee the death of another Nollywood veteran Yusuf Olorungbebe.
The veteran actor who had been battling an undisclosed ailement gave up the ghost after his body couldn’t bear the complication.
Yusuf had unfortunately battled the sickness to the extent that he got bedridden and was held on life support.
Announcing his death, one of his colleague expressed her pain while also revealing that he died despite all the effort deployed to revive him to life.
Before his death, she had pleaded with Nigerians to raise recongnised fund to support Yusuf Olorungbebe through his health battle and complications.
She was recalled saying:
“Please, no amount is too small for him to live; your support will go a very long way,”
Nigerians did came to his aide and raised funds that cleared most of his hospital bills. Despite their efforts, he still succumbed to the call of the nature, leaving many remorseful.
In line with his demise, a massive number of Nigerians has stormed all the social media platforms to bid their condolences and wishes to the family of the deceased.
During his Yusuf Olorungbebe’s era in Nollywood, he featured mostly on Yoruba movies that added to the gloe of Nollwood legacy. In the other phase, the Nigerian entertainment firm has lost a gem.
