YBNL Gem, Asake stole the show at the 8th edition of the AFRIMA award after he emerged as the winner in the two major categories he was nominated for.
The first award he clinched last night featured ‘Artiste of the year’ which several sources including Nigerians have described as a well-deserved prize.

The second award he clinched last night at the great ceremony featured the ‘Breakout artiste of the year’ he clinched with his several hit songs.
In a video that had gone viral, he was seen very enthusiastically as he climbed the stage to receive his plaques.
Asake rose to fame after releasing several hit songs that dominated all major music charts followed by a debut album that rapidly broke massive records.
