The 2023 aspiring presidential candidate, Peter Obi has taken to his Twitter handle to sympathise with the Afrobeat sensation Davido who lost his son to drowning.
News broke out on 31st October picturing that Davido’s only son, Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned to death in his father’s swimming pool amid the effect of domestic employees’ carelessness.

After he was confirmed dead, celebrities and fans showed up for the singer deploying encouraging words to his status.
One of the 2023 Nigerian presidential candidates, Peter Obi was not left out in this category. He described the pain he felt for the deceased and his family and encouraged Davido to stay strong.
In his words, he said:
“I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma, over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment.”
