Nigerian BET Music Award-winning diva, Tems has addressed the notion that has compared her status to the Nigerian feminine big stars.
The heavily endowed singer who broke records and emerged as the first female Nigerian artist to clinch the best international act at the 2022 BET Annual Music Award melted the hearts of Nigerians who immediately compared her status to other big Feminines in the Afrobeat genre.

Most Twitter influencers compared her status with Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Simi and Waje. They further elevated her rank above all and threw multiple shades on them. This caused heavy criticism and reaction which didn’t digest well to Tems grind.
Instead of infusing the flame of the saga, she took to her Twitter handle and quenched it. She vowed that they inspired her and applauded the efforts they deploy every day to maintain the dignity of Afrobeat so far.
In her words, she tweeted:
“I’m taking today to appreciate alll the Sisters today. Thank you for existing, thank you for deciding to get up and do something because someone saw that and became inspired by it. @Asa_official @Omawumi @TiwaSavage @yemialadee @OfficialWaje @SympLySimi @OfficialNiniola”
“@amaarae @Gyakie_ @ayrastarr @faveszn @TeniEntertainer
When I see anyone of you gracing a stage, I feel like that’s me. We’re all winning and we’re about to move in like a Tsunami. So before it starts, know that Love lives on this side. As we show the world how it’s done.”
“And if I missed any messages it is definitely unintentional. I don’t take your kind words and support for granted. Sending you all love today because you DESERVE.
Love always❤️?”
