The 2022 CAF award ceremony condoned successfully at Rabat in Morocco on the night of 21st July 2022 has attracted massive attention after favourite names dominated the show.
According to professional reviews last night, Liverpool ex-player, Sadio Mane emerged as the African Best Player of the year for the second consecutive time beating the likes of Chelsea star, Mendy and his Liverpool ex-teammate, Mohammed Salah.

This came after the player unleashed his scary football qualities to clinch the AFCON title amid his decisive penalities.
He was presented with the plaque at the Confederation of African Football’s awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday night.
Nigerian sensation, Asisat Oshoala also surpassed her nominees and emerged as the women’s African player of the year.
This made it the 5th time she is clinching the award consecutively. In the main sense, her overall performance across Europe with her club, Barcelona played a vital role in the victory.
