Chelsea football club has emerged as the winner of the FIFA Club World Cup after defeating Palmeiras in a 2-1 victory.
A classy header from Romelu Lukaku in the 55th minute helped put Chelsea ahead of the game after the Belgian beast forcefully converted Hudson Odoi perfect cross.

Quite before such an astonishing performance, Chelsea dominated the game in the first half that ended in a 0-0 tally before returning to lead the game in the 55th minute.
A cheeky handball condoned by Thiago Silver also resulted in a favourable 64th-minute penalty converted calmly by Veiga and the game was levelled again.
Both teams strived for the winning goal until it came in favour of Chelsea who was awarded an extra-time penalty. The German youngster, Kai Havertz professionally converted the penalty and gave Chelsea a boost to defend their lead.
They did protect their lead and emerged as the FIFA Club World Cup champions for the first time in their football club history.
Meanwhile, Chelsea football club clinching the CWC last night has won all the major club trophies in all competitions.
Cesar Azplicueta also became the only player in Chelsea history to win all the major club trophies with the club so far.
