Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech has announced his retirement from international football after years of an alleged feud between him and his national head coach.
He made this announcement during an interview with club world cup press conference in Chelsea camp where he announced his final decision.

According to him, he vowed that he understands the manager’s decision but have finalised that he won’t be returning to the national team even if he is recalled to their camp.
In his words, he said:
“I will no longer return to the National Team, this is my final decision. Not including me in the squad was a decision Halilhodzic took and you have to respect it, but when lying becomes part of it.. for me it’s clear now. I won’t return to the National Team.”
