Nigerian welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman has retained his championship after defeating his challenger Colby Covington via an unanimous decision.
The battle surfaced to be Kamaru Usman show following how he comfortably defeated Colby in an aggressive brutal display.

Colby received his first tear on the face during their fight in just 3 minutes following the effect of Kamaru aggressive techniques.
Kamaru however extended his winning streak of 15-0 after he dominated the game striking Colby almost 20 times thrusting his failure and retaining his Welterweight championship.
Reacting to the loss, Colby outlined that Kamaru portrayed cheating and would wish to fight him again so as to show his class to the world.
In his words, he said:
“I’m definitely not proud of my performance. I should have won that. It was laser thin again. I honestly thought I had it 3-2. It was very close. He clipped me, I clipped him a couple of times.”
“I think we have unfinished business. I’ll give five more rounds out in the parking lot right now. I’m serious about that. I will see him again. I’m not done with him.”
“I still think I was right there.”
“I didn’t think he clearly won (rounds) one and two. Maybe round two because he clipped me but round one was very close. I don’t know you can just outright give it to him. It was a very close fight. Whatever judge put it 49-46 is out of their f*cking mind.”
